You might be familiar with Tulsi if you are interested or dwell in the world of Hinduism, Ayurveda, Sanskrit, or even any general interaction or interest in India.
Tulsi, Sacred basil, is highly regarded in Ayurvedic Medicine, and drunk as a tea. It’s also woven throughout the Hindu Pantheon, particularly among devotees to Vishnu and his incarnations, including Krishna and Rama and Hanuman.
The essential oil is usually grown and distilled in India, naturally.
There’s not a ton of referenced material on Tulsi, that I feel comfortable listing here.

For Aromatherapy, blend with rosemary, peppermint, anise, lemon, sweet fennel, juniper berry, and orange
Tulsi
Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat
Throughout the history of human being
Continuous observation of nature he made
Medicinal properties in plants he noticed
Healing powers and such favorable qualities
Tulsi, the small plant got much importance
In Asiatic countries and India in particular.
Tulsi leaf a better home medicine and herb
Throughout the villages it is grown in neatness
Used for devotional purposes in sanctity
Tulsi the small bushy plant a lifelong companion.
My Tulsi Plant
Poem by Namita Rani Panda
I water and worship the tulsi in my yard
That's bathed with the morning sunrays
Looks luxuriant and vibrant
As you wish me "good morning"
For a bright and brilliant day!
The essence of insence sticks fills the air
And your wish emanates around me an unfading aura!
In the evening I light a lamp
Before the Chaunra and bow my head
Praying for everyone's well-being
As you wish me "good evening"
And as the flame lights the surrounding
Your wish instills in me the virtue to, though in darkness, spread my ever glowing glare!
At night I look thankfully at my tulsi
Bathed in silvery moonlight
As you wish me "good night"
And I breathe out air perfumed with divine delight
For your pristine love and care
So divine and rare!
