Fixed and carrier oils are all the oils that are not volatile, meaning not essential oils, but the ones you can use for massage, the oils for body, and face. They can be directly pressed from a seed, or other plants macerated into a stable carrier, making a strongly bio-active oil. Please note, these oils are fixed, not volatile. They are not aromatic. While some may carry a faint scent, they are chosen for their bio-activity, not their aromatic profile. Sweet almond is not almond fragrance, cherry doesn't smell like cherry perfume, plum doesn't give a strong plum aroma......
