Cera alba 

Grown and extracted in Morocco, from yellow beeswax, using an alcohol wash to separate the beeswax first. 

Beeswax is a byprouct of honey production and it's found world-wide. Beeswax is one of the conponents of honeycomb production. Once the honey is removed from the comb, the combs are removed, rinsed with water, and melted. 

According to Arctander:

Beeswax absolute is a solid, waxy mass of pale yellow color and a very mild, sweet, oily odor, with a haylike or coumarinic bodynote and a soft, waxy undertone. The odor is remotely reminiscent of good linseed oilwith a trace of honey notes. 

The scent of beeswax depends on the diet of the bees. 

Beeswax absolute is useful in perfumes where similar notes occur or "rough edges" of synthetic materials must be rounded off. It blends well with jasmine, mimosa, cassie, violet, "new mown hay", "tabac", as well as "cire d'abeille" perfume base, in which a meadow-like sweetness and heavy, honey-like floral notes are predominant.
