Our Frankincense hydrosol is distilled by Trygve at our Omani distillery.

Frankincense hydrosol (water) comprises the water soluble (not the oil soluble) aromatic molecules; they don’t come out with the oil when the oil and water are separated at the end of the distillation. While the scent is recognizably frankincense, it differs slightly. Frankincense hydrosol is appropriate whenever a more delicate application is required, or extra efficacy is desired when making creams or any other product that incorporates water. Frankincense hydrosol can also be used as a flavoring. 

Hydrosols are fantastic coolers during the summer months. You can keep them in the refrigerator if you like, and mist your face when you come in from a hot and annoying day in the city. Take them to the gym.

Frankincense is known to be great for aging, mature, skin as well as sores, rashes, burns and bites.

Nothing is added to our oil and hydrosols. No preservatives, no isolates, no “enhancers”, no alcohol. When you breathe in Enfleurage Frankincense hydrosol, you are breathing in its soul. Purely.
