Citronella has a reputation as amosquito repellent and a bit of a workhorse oil,to be frank, it doesn't seem so glamorous, but let's not sell our grasses short! They aren important and their voices derserve to be heard, their odors smelled and they deserve respect and consideration.

Citronella oil is a colorless to pale yellow mobile oil, with a sweet fresh scent and high levels of citronellal, geraniol and citronellol.The dryout is also sweet but also somewhat woody. Commonly mixed with American cedars in anti-mosquito products.

Citronella is commonly used as the following in aromatherapy: Antiseptic, bactericidal, deodorant, diaphoretic, febrifuge, insecticide and tonic. For use as a natural insect repellent, can also blend with eucayptus, Buddha wood, peppermint, kunzea, palmarose, lemon scented tea tree, spike lavender and tea tree.
