A very nice Angelica
This oil did not disappoint, it has the lovely spicy top notes that one hopes for. The crushed green leaf notes that some Angelica has are not quite as prominent here, but here there is a lovely almost citrusy zingy quality alongside with the peppery and herbal top notes. Upon drying down entirely, the oil reveals notes of black pepper, hay, musk, and dirt. It doesn't have the powdery candy quality that I've found occasionally in Angelica, but the fat musky quality brings its own charm.
